About Student Trustees

The position of Student Trustee is an incredibly important one in our education system. It is a tremendous honour to represent KPR's 36,000 students across our great school board and in the boardroom. Education is vital because every day, our schools train and nurture young minds so that students can one day do amazing things in the world.

As Student Trustees, we voice the concerns and ideas of students to fellow board colleagues to ensure that the opinions of students are considered before the board makes a final decision. After all, the people who will be most affected by the decisions of a school board are students.
